Equipment

  • Blender jar

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Instant coffee
  • ½ cup Hot water
  • 2 tbsp Sugar Optional
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Dissolve 2 tablespoons of instant coffee or espresso powder in 1/2 cup of hot water. Stir until the coffee granules are completely dissolved.
  • In a separate container, add 2-3 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste). Pour the hot coffee over the sugar and stir until it's well combined, ensuring the sugar dissolves thoroughly.
  • Allow the sweetened coffee mixture to cool down to room temperature, either on the counter or by refrigerating it for a few minutes.
  • Once the coffee mixture has cooled, add 1 cup of milk to it. For an extra creamy texture, include 1/4 cup of heavy cream. Stir until all the ingredients are perfectly blended.
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the coffee mixture over them. The ice will chill the coffee and give it that signature cold coffee texture.
  • If you desire added flavor, consider adding a dash of vanilla extract or drizzling some chocolate syrup over the top.
  • Garnish your homemade cold coffee with a coffee bean or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for that coffee shop feel.
  • Enjoy your refreshing and delicious homemade cold coffee!
