Ingredients
  

  • 30 Grams Coarsely ground coffee
  • 400 Grams Filtered water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Measure and grind coarsely ground coffee beans.
  • Heat filtered water to just below boiling point.
  • Remove the plunger from the French press.
  • Add the coffee grounds to the empty beaker of the French press.
  • Pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds to bloom the coffee.
  • Let it sit for about 30 seconds.
  • Slowly add the remaining hot water to the French press.
  • Give it a gentle stir to ensure even extraction.
  • Place the plunger back on top of the French press, without pressing it down.
  • Allow the coffee to steep for about 4 minutes.
  • Slowly press the plunger down to separate the grounds from the liquid.
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour the brewed coffee from the French press into the glass filled with ice.
  • Stir well to incorporate all the ingredients.
